My Inspection day

I was not stressed at all; I just took it to be a particular day when my upcoming carreer was going to be decided upon. This was I think due to the fact that I grew the thought that the inspectors were my colleagues who were coming to observe me and then decide whether I was good or not. It was one thing or the other; either I performed well or poorly. I remained selft-confident because I just had to teach according to how I was trained. And since I had in mind to perform according to how I was taught, I could not be scared.

However, I did something exraordinary. The day before my inspection day, I went to school to meet and familiarize with my inspectors though I did not have class. When they asked me why I was sticking round, I told them I came to champion my female colleague. But actually, I did not. I did not want them to overaw me during my inspection. It was for me a way to play down the psychological gap. As a result my inspection happened in a good mood.

In a word self-confidence, not overconfidence can help you overcome the inspection day's stress.
